How Backup Software Protected My Music

As a young adult from New York my first love was music. I fell in love with music from a young age and knew it would always be a part of me. I’ve been making music since I was barely a teen, and over the years I gained somewhat of a fan base. Since people have finally begun to show interest in my music, I decided it was time a release a bigger project.

For the past 4 months I’ve been working on a mixtape with 11 songs and yesterday I finally finished recording the final one. I had my producer put everything onto my laptop so I wouldn’t have to worry about it being leaked or anyone listening early. It was a great feeling listening to the completed tape and I couldn’t wait to release it. The next morning while playing it for my friends, my nephew who is barley 2 years spilled his juice all over my computer! It got all into the keyboard and my computer actually started to smoke, so we quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher in fear it would start a fire.

Needless to say my computer no longer worked and everything that was on it is now gone. My four months of hard work is now gone without me ever getting an opportunity to release my music. Even though I asked for the copy of the tape to be moved onto my computer, I texted my producer in hopes he still had a copy. He told me that he only had the copy that was put onto my computer. Just when things started to look really bleak, he told me he did however backup his computer before he transferred the file and that he might be able to recover it.

I had no idea what he meant, but then he told me he has a file recovery service called DDI Utilities that he can use to get back any lost or corrupted files/data. He also suggested I get the same software for my files so that everything that I consider crucial can be protected and safe. It made sense to me that he has all his files backed up, especially since he works with different clients, and losing a file can cause him to lose that client forever.

Knowing that my entire tape can be recovered with an erased files recovery and that I can prevent this from ever happening again was a huge relief for me. After looking into the software for myself I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was also available for mobile devices, both iPhones and Androids. All of my photos, videos, contacts, and much more can safely be backed up and quickly recovered if I ever needed.

I’ll never again put myself in a situation where I can lose things important to me on my computer or mobile device, so I’ll always rely on DDI Utilities. Being able to have an erased file recovery software in case of an emergency gives me a huge peace of mind.
