Why You Should Back Up Your Phone

You know how people always say to back up your phone before something happens and how we never do it because we feel like it could never happen to us. Well, that was me and unfortunately it happened to me. One Saturday morning I decided to take my six-year-old son and toddler daughter to the park for some fresh air and so my son could run around and play. My daughter was in the stroller as I sat on the bench and we both watched my son play.

 While going to get some snacks for my kids from my bag I rested my phone in the stroller along with my daughter. Well, I guess I shouldn’t have done that because my daughter picked my phone up and flung it. I couldn’t believe she could even throw that far! It had been raining late last night but now it was sunny outside and any puddles had dried up. At least that’s what I thought, out of all the grass and dried ground my phone landed in the only puddle in sight. I almost felt like my daughter had done it on purpose, I rushed over to pick it up but water had already sunk into the phone when I noticed.

All the family photos from our summer trips to the beach, Europe, and everything had been taken on that phone! The thought of losing those memories was unbearable but then I remembered I had a file recovery software and backed up my phone using the DDI utilities software.
